Hydra-Test Test Point Probes
Probes for testing pressure and temperature and for fluid sampling, all connect to the Hydra-Test Plugs described earlier to allow different parameters to be tested from a common point. Connection and disconnection of probes requires no tools and is quick, clean and safe even with the system working at pressures up to 400 bar.

Standard Direct Pressure Test Probes
For direct connection to the Test Point. They may be supplied with or without a gauge (gauge availability is described later).
  • 63mm, 1OOmm or 15Omm glycerine filled pressure gauge options.
  • Steel construction with corrosion resistant plating.

Direct Pressure Test Probe + Gauge Protection
Integral aluminium bodied protection valve closes automatically during any period when pressure exceeds the sate limit of the gauge fitted.

  • 3 gauge sizes, 7 pressure ranges.
  • Direct or remote connection optional.

Staplelock Direct Probes
Complimentary to the Staplelock Plugs described previously, these probes are designed to NCB638 standards and will accept any 8/10 staplelock pressure gauge or other equipment.

  • Inline, 45°and 90° models.
  • Passivated steel construction.

Remote Pressure Test Probes with Gauge
Flexible pressure hoses allow easier access to Test Point Plugs which are obscured by other equipment.

  • Hose lengths up to 4 metres.
  • 63mm or 1OOmm pressure.
  • Option of nine pressure ranges.

Remote Pressure Test Probes without Gauge
These hose probes will accept any pressure gauge which has a 1/4” NPTF connection. Specification otherwise is as the remote Probe described above.

Temperature Test Probe
The probe is connected electrically to a handheld, battery powered digital display unit.

  • -2O°C to +200°C range.
  • 1 second response time.

Fluid Sampling Probe
This probe allows steady state fluid samples to be taken from the working system via any Test Point Plug.

  • Flexible delivery hose up to 2 metres long.
  • Precise flow control.
