Hydraulic System Valves
Many items in this selection of valves were developed against the specific requirements of our customers before being made available generally. The range will meet the requirements of most system designers in both mobile and industrial applications.

Valves for flow
and pressure control
Inline Check Valves
Spring seated poppet valve allows flow in one direction only.
  • Alternative cracking pressures 0.35 to 4.50 bar
  • For system pressures up to 350 bar.
  • Sizes for flows from 9 to 345 l/mm.
  • SAE ‘O’-ring, BSPP and NPT connections.

Pilot Operated Check Valves
A spring seated poppet valve allows free flow in one direction; the application of pilot pressure allows reverse flow.

  • Line mounting and cartridge versions.
  • Available with external drain.
  • 350 bar maximum system pressure.

Double Pilot Check Valves
Flow is locked in both directions until one of two pilot ports is pressurised to permit flow in the required direction.

SAE Flange Check Valves
Designed to interface between standard SAE 6000 pipe flanges and the system component to allow flow in one direction only.

Safety Check Valves
These valves allow flow in both directions under normal conditions, but one direction has a preset maximum flow which, if exceeded, causes the valve to close.

  • Will sustain a load in the event of hydraulic failure.
  • Closing flows from 10 to 200 l/min.
  • Line mounting and cartridge versions.

Shuttle Valves
Directs one of two inlet flows through a common outlet whilst simultaneously blocking the other inlet.

  • For flows up to 113 l/min.
  • BSPP connections from 1/4” to 3/4”.
  • For system pressures up to 350 bar.

Unloading and sequence valves
Operated by adjustable pilot pressure, these valves can be used to either unload a pump during low demand by diverting the flow direct to tank, or to control the sequence of flow to two different circuits.

  • Flow up to 90 l/min.
  • 210 bar working pressure.
  • Internal or external drain or pilot.
