Cartridge Valves & Guage Components
Cartridge valves which are manufactured in standard and miniature versions, are designed for fitting into manifold pockets or to system hardware, for instance in the end cap of a cylinder. Gauge components provide for the protection and effective utilisation of standard pressure gauges.

Mobile and industrial
system applications
Counter-balance Valves
Maintain a preset pressure in part of a hydraulic system to sustain a load or other external force.
  • Line mounting for pressures up to 210 bar.
  • Cartridge versions for pressures up to 350 bar.

Pressure Relief Valves
Open a by-pass to tank if system pressure or pressure caused by thermal expansion in a hydraulically locked system, exceeds a preset maximum.

  • 4 versions up to 210 bar and 35 l/min max.
  • 35 bar version, 50 l/min max.

Miniature Cartridge Valves
These fit directly into manifold blocks or cylinder end caps etc., thus minimising pipework. They are suitable for system pressures up to 350 bar. The following types are available:

  • Ball check valves for up to 100 l/min
  • Check valves with pilot operated reverse flow.
  • Two way check - “pilot to close” or “vent to open” versions.
  • Direct acting pressure relief valves.
  • Shuttle valves.
  • Pressure gauge protection valve.

Inline Housings for Cartridge Valves
Housings are available for all HSP Standard and Miniature Cartridge Valves to facilitate line mounting if required.

Pressure Gauge Protection Valves
Provides automatic shut-off during periods when line pressure exceeds the maximum working pressure of the gauge.

  • Low, medium and high pressure ranges.
  • Auto reset.

Pressure Gauge Snubbers
Fitted to the gauge connection, snubbers will prevent pressure surges and pulsations from damaging the gauge mechanism.

Multi-Circuit Gauge Isolators
Multiple inlet ports are selected individually to connect with a single pressure gauge port thus allowing one gauge to read pressures from up to 6 ports in a hydraulic circuit.

  • Saves multiple instrumentation.
  • Positive, accurate, detent selection.
  • 400 bar maximum working pressure.
  • Panel mounting design.
