The JIC Hose Test Coupling is to introduce an in-line Test Point to any system at any point. Most commonly the coupling is installed via the swivel female end to a fixed male adaptor from a manifold then a female hose end is connected to the male end of the coupling to continue the circuit. The test points have an M16 x 2 male thread in line with ISO15171-2 and are compatible with any test equipment from other manufacturers using ISO15171-2 standards. Test points are installed into the hydraulic system hardware and can be used with any M16 x 2 test hoses and probes. The equipment is used to obtain pressure checks during service and fault finding. Probes may be connected and disconnected at full system pressure without fluid loss or ingress of dirt.
